Greg was not a drinker, he only came after a rough day at work and even then he didn't drink. A beer sat to his right, untouched, cerulean eyes that were rather bloodshot stared forward. Life was hell in the day of an Agent, arresting once trusted Agents for going Feral on their friends. Shaking his head an exasperated sigh surpassed Greg's lips, his hand ran roughly through blond hair. Collared shirt was untucked and wrinkled as if he had ripped with from a hamper, only he was too tired to car. Slacks were still firmly upon his hips, black shoes that were once dressy looking were not dull and scuffed. Greg pulled casually at his tie about his neck, releasing a button at his throat and resumed to rest against the bar table.
He had gathered nothing from Sarah for he interrogated the wrong person. He should have gone after Jack first-- the man had the resources and had far more motive to screw CTU than Sarah did. What thoroughly pissed Greg off was the fact Jack was getting of rather easy, no treason, no penalty of death only a mere slap on the wrist with a year behind bars. Shaking his head Greg let his gaze wander, his expression neutral.

[glow=red,2,300]Kill me now[/glow] Sarah wasn't in a great mood at the moment.Shoving a life saver down her throat she sucked on it as she slowly walked from her house. Her hair blowed around her as the wind wipped around her. Breathing hard from just pure angery she 'stomped' her path towards the bar. She was pissed cuz what she just lived from a long time friend and also stomped for all the reasons that she could think of that made her pissed.
Gripping her cellphone she read over her letter on her phone and growled again and stomped more down the street towards the bar 'son of the.. ah! if i was there i'd kill him the bastard!' she thought as she glanced around making sure nobody was watching her. taking a deep breath she bitted her lip before she started to just do a light jog until she started to feel herself sweat so she slowed down. Once she was at the bar she opened the door and slowly walked into the smokie bar smelling bar. brushing her hair out of her face that just stayed around her shoulders she smoothed her pants a little bit before tugging down her coat zipper down and off as she moved towards a booth.

Greg had been surprised from the start that the actually worm had been Jack, of all people. He’d been through hell, but it took a lot to break a man down—and apparently Jack had had enough. Greg exhaled softly and a sigh surpassed his lips soon after, staring bored upon the glass of beer. He turned slightly and gestured the bartender over, [ Just give me a damn water. ] He coiled in a growl under his breath, the bartender sneered and nodded. Greg downed the glass of water quicker than he would any shot of scotch or any glass of beer, he wasn’t in the mood to get drunk—least not yet.
Greg felt the hairs on his nape raise as if he was a dog on the defense, he turned his gaze over his rumpled collared shirt to see Sarah. She looked like hell, apparently this hit harder on her than it did most anyone. Jack was sincerely known by her, the others knew little of him as did Greg. He heard of Jack, his sacrifice only to be reimbursed by life and how ungrateful Jack seemed to be. Greg shook his head, grabbed his beer and walked toward Sarah who had tackled a booth. He set the beer down, [ Want it? ] He questioned in gesture to the beer. He was off the clock, simple conversation with a co-worker would not harm.

[glow=red,2,300]It would do Harm[/glow] Sarah flopped up into the booth and just relaxed. Moving her foot around for a moment she just glanced around everywhere scanning the place before seeing greg...'mm wonder if i should have some fun with him..' she thought. of course not sexual fun but fun to mess with his mind.. nah. 'he's kinda cute.. SARAH! don't think like that!' her thoughts growled at them selfs and she shook her head.
Sarah's hand brushed the table just out of habit before leaning back against the booth again. Watching Greg make his way to wards her She swallowed 'what does he want?" she thought and crossed her leg over the other. she mumbled softly. she couldn't believe jack was the one.. but ..wow..

Greg looked away slightly as Sarah looked stared him down as he approached her, he suddenly felt awkward. Keeping his hard outer shell of defense as he approached her, setting the beer before her, [ Beer? ] He questioned, taking a seat across from her without a request. His hands folded between his thighs after he set down his water—he sighed. [ Now why are you here? I’m sure you have better things to do than get drunk. ] He protested softly.
Greg did not offer a smile as the waitress approached, he bought two beers, and kept the one by Sarah. [ Don’t be shy, I’m sure you drink. ] He insinuated. That was how it worked after Jack and Sarah’s little ‘mingle’ that resulted in a loss of child for Sarah. Greg on the other hand had very little time to enter intimacy let alone start a relationship. He ate, drank, and breathed his job—sure, he envied people who had a solid relationship, but he should not complain. His rolled his shoulders softly and sat back, his hands rested on his thighs lightly and his jaw rotated while his gaze wandered briefly as the awkward silence persisted.

[glow=red,2,300]..mm i dont know..[/glow] Looking at the beer he sat down she tried to be nice and said "mm i might.. and take a seat if you wish" Once she was finished she just moved her head a tiny bit "Never mind" she mumbled as he already taken the seat "I think i should be asking you that. You don't seem like a person to be hanging around a bar.."she mumbled and then kinda nodded to wards the water. Showing her how she meant that. i mean a person want to the bar for friends..and maybe beer. didn't seem like he was around anybody.
Sarah thought he probably new how she ended up with child. but she didn't really know. she wished it never got out always wondered WHY it got out. damn the CTU for always having to know shit. damn it."I'm not shy.. and you know i drink" she mumbled talking about how he probably new that she drunk. Trying to forgot about that she moved a tiny bit and looked at her drink for a moment wondering if she should..

Greg had paused slightly as she started to offer him a seat and he felt rather foolish for not asking. He shrugged in a mutual ‘sorry’. Greg took a sip of the water he had as he listened to Sarah speak up in her mumble. He shrugged again, [ Change of atmosphere. No one cares who or what you do here. So—I’m not the drinking type really. ] He scattered his response by mistake. Greg was not intimate with anyone, far from it, and although he knew of Sarah’s past experience—he did not question her further. [ Guess it’s better than all the stiff necks at CTU. ] He added dully.
Greg didn’t mean to offend her by his words, or maybe he did—all his defensive speaking. He sighed softly. [ I know, I just didn’t want to say “Engorge yourself”. ] He stammered lightly. He’d been enlightened through a debrief on Sarah. Jack requested a partner changed and he was forced to explain why—it was all controversy, but they got their exchange with great reluctance. Greg observed as Sarah seemed to debate on her drink, [ It’s Friday, I’ll be your designated driver. ] He joked.

"Much better" was all she answered to what he first said 'plus you don't have to worry abut it going on your paper.. or peeps talking about it..' she thought and glanced at Greg again before moving her foot some. her hand touched her drink that he give her and just looked at him. She chuckled softly at the second thing he said before shaking her head softly.
" i wouldn't joke like that i might take the offer and I'm a handful to take care of while I'm drunk" she said and smirked softly. knowing she could be and also knowing she couldn't be. smirking softly she slowly brought the glass to her mouth and took a sip of it before licking her lower lip and placing it down on the table again.

Greg smirked softly, and nodded. [ Yeah. ] He replied simply. Greg’s gaze shifted as he observed Sarah taking to her drink, he didn’t protest nor did he comment. Only it seemed like she was having second thoughts, his jaw rotated lightly with thought and he sighed, taking a swig of his own drink. He wasn’t one to convince others to drink, but she looked like she needed to get a little shit-faced and crash.
Greg laughed, [ I’m sure I can manage. ] He assured her, taking in her smirk and her ‘threat’. Greg grew up with guys who got stone drunk and were ass-holes and hard to cope with, a woman on the other hand was more apt to either be seductive or aggressive, either way, Greg would be prepared. Finally seeing her take a swig he shrugged in a mutual comment to himself. [ Buchanan still hasn’t decided what he’s going to do to Jack yet. I guess he’s going to serve a couple years for a Rogue operation. ] He stated awkwardly.

Sarah faked a happy cheerful smile when he just agreed with her before it dropped off her face just has fast as it appeared. She didn't really drink at the moment she learned her lesson of drinking from jack and didn't really wish to get drunk and end up in bed with Greg but then again who Said Greg would do that to her? nobody did but he was a guy and guys couldn't be trusted will at least guys that worked with her. she learned that a long time ago. yup she did. no for that matter NO guy could be trusted.Taking off her Wind breaker she placed it by herself in the booth beside her.
"you might manage pretty well and then you might not." was all she muttered before looking at the drink he had brought her "How do i know you didn't place a drug in it?" she asked him with a risen brow. she didn't mean to offended but you could never be too sure about it. there was many things that you couldn't trust specially when you was a FBI agent. she had already taken a sip from the bottle but only a little one. Hearing what he said about jack she replayed with a "i rather not speak about jack' softly to him
Sarah's chocolate flames flicked over Greg's features on his face. Greg was a pretty good looking guy. he looked older then 28 well thats what Sarah thought but she hadn't really thought about the age. At her old station they had a 25 year old look like a 34 year old which was very weird but she guessed some people aged harder and faster? Sarah started almost comparing who was sexier. Greg or Jack. Sarah was greatly annoyed at jack but was slowly getting over it. she didn't know Greg just yet. the only thing she new was he thought she sucked at being a agent. Which she probably did. but oh well.

Greg rotated his jaw lightly when Sarah’s smile fell, he felt awkward as the silence persisted. Clearing his throat with slight aggravation at his lack of tolerance for silence. Greg wasn’t the type to trick a woman into bed, the repercussions of the morning were never fun, and they hardly turned out to be worth it. Women weren’t things you used and abused like some did, he didn’t critique Jack for what’d he’d done to Sarah, the guy was human and their standards of sobriety… it was no surprise she ended up knocked up. That was alcohol for you.
Greg laughed lightly at her comment, he shrugged silently in his response. Hearing her question him with a caulked brow he raised his own, [ You honestly think I’m that deceitful? ] He questioned. [ If I wanted to drug you, you wouldn’t know it. ] He joked, but shook his head seriously, [ No… I didn’t drug your drink. ] He grunted finally. He understood Sarah knew little about him, it was slightly offending, but he tolerated it. When he spoke of Jack and her immediate response he paused his raising hand, slightly surprised by her sudden defensive nature, [ Oh—um, ok. ] He replied, taking a swig of his drink.
Unlike some Greg handled his age well, he didn’t often mention it because he had no reason to. You either liked him, or you didn’t, whether it was personal or platonic. Stress was rough on Greg, but somehow he managed to avoid that adding a few years to his age, assured he could pull off looking younger if he didn’t have such a shitty stressful job. Locking away a high reputable Agent wasn’t very relaxing either. The phone calls hadn’t stopped just yet, he understood, people were pissed at him. Jack had been the next best thing to everyone, he knew it all, he had the experience with his age, but what he did wasn’t able to justify or overrun the good he had done. Greg had not thought much about personal life with Sarah, hell if her ability at being an agent wasn’t that great… how was she ‘normal’ but so far she seemed rather level headed outside the station. Sarah was an Agent with pep in her step, but never seemed to learn when to zip the lip. [ Well. If you don’t wanna talk about him, then what do you want to talk about? ] He questioned lightly.

Sarah grinned lightly and just shook her head. taking a deeper sip out of the drink he brought her she relaxed up against the sit just nodding at what he said. it was stupid of her to ask but oh well she asked anyways just to ask. She sent him a light.. kinda of friendly but still dangerous smile when he rose his hand. "What ever you wish to speak about. Anything BUT our jobs.. or jack...please" she added a please just to try to be mannerful somewhat.
Her chocolate flames flicked across the bar room just for the hell of it before returning back to Greg again. Moving some so she legs crossed over the other she played with her bottle before looking up at Greg again. She wanted to get stone drunk but then again she didn't really wish to do it in front of somebody in her department.. 'hell with them' she thought to herself and took another greedy sip before placing it down. "So. ...so....so..." she mumbled being very bored. her head rested up against the booth.

Greg cleared his throat, his gaze lowered to his drink and his brows furrowed momentarily as he tried to think. Upper enamels ran over his lower lip and he sighed lightly, looking up to see that dangerous smile she had, it was no wonder she had Jack falling over her. Greg, he knew better, he knew to keep his distance, or at least try to. He didn’t judge her for asking about him drugging her drink, but in realty if he wanted to… she wouldn’t have known, but Greg wasn’t the type. Nodding when she added, the please she offered wasn’t convincing, but it didn’t matter. [ Alright then.. uhm.. ] he started and soon realized that he literally had no life. All he could think to speak of was his job or work, it was pathetic.
The silence persisted, Greg wasn’t good at conversation, good at interrogation, but not this. He brushed his fingertips against his brow lightly and he swallowed the silence with a swig of his drink. [ You gonna get yourself a new car? Toss out that old beat up? ] he questioned with a joke. Greg had a government issued SUV, just as Jack had, but his wasn’t nearly as loaded by means of technology. When she mumbled he realized he failed at this field, he couldn’t think of one damn thing to say, and she was bored… great.
