Interrogation Cell 2.

A deep exhale of oxygen was exaggerated as Ryan looked through the sided mirror. Ryan honestly didn't want to Interrogate this Jack Bauer who was Federal Agent. He honestly just got into the program and interrogating someone was something didn't want to do. Plus Ryan was sick with allergies. His nose was stuffy, vocals were scratchy, and a deep cough to add to it. To lazy to shave for about three days he began getting small whiskers and dark circles began forming around his blue optics. He was wearing a nice suit jacket.... with jeans and dressy shoes. He was like that laid back but not totally. Sometimes not being all dressy and uptight and being casual helped in a interrogation. He slowly stepped through the door into the cell. It was pretty chilly and gloomy. Dark grey walls evenly out into a squared room with one metal chair and one metal table with one light over the table, to make the suspense deifying.


Ryan coughed as he covered his mouth with his fore arm and walked to the table as he sat his ass on the side of that table in jeans as he let his hand roughly grab his face angrily a the fact he came to work today. He hated doing this to people who were in higher ranking of himself. As he looked around and waited for this Jack to come to see how intimidating he was. Ryan was brand new and it wasn't a good way to meet your boss... (ooc:assuming Jack is) Ryan had to admit he was nervous and a bit rusty at this..... God be with him... He was trying to think of a strategy to do this to his 'boss'. He was quite unsure how to approach the situation. Most likely he was going to be almost a suck up but not quite. Maybe a bit meaner and more persuasive. Sighing he let his hand run through his thick black hair as he sighed and his optics stared drowsily to the large metal door awaiting for his so called 'boss' to enter.Ryan hadn't even been here for more then a week he was just transfered from the head quarters at the CTU. He is the Division Director. The CTU offices report to a Divisional Office, overseen by the Division Director, his job... It wasn't no picnic either. It was one hell of a tough and annoying job... He had to run over everything and make suer it wasn't any threats and computer skills was something he was well known of. He could hack into any computer and get any information he needed but he was on the U.S side so no worries. They were the ones who gave him his skills. Though when someone was interrogating him, that could be brought up and that would be hard to try to shrug off. A small shrug was not what Ryan was going to do if this was going to turn around and this whole worm deal was going to be on his shoulders. Accusations was the CIA, FBI, and really the CUT's job his pretty much sucked ass and Ryan hated that but his job was to hack and search in the computers for any terrorist threats or anything dangerous to the U.S.

Bauer was not thrilled about being Interrogated by a lower rank, rank had not much to do with it—but from word of mouth this Agent had not been quite experienced in this field. This would be entertaining. Jack had moved from one Interrogation Cell to the other, his upper torso still occupied by his Kevlar vest, long navy blue shirt beneath and denim jeans, his typical field wear. His mind was uneasy with what the Agents were being put through, for once doubting whether or not he’d be able to cope with it—with interrogation, came pain and with pain came the memories. Jack approached the second Cell on the Interrogation hallway, he pushed it open to find the Agent in his sites, not particularly impressed.

Jack slowly stepped forward, cerulean eyes narrowed with little interest. Quickly he exchanged glances with not only a recording device, but a camera as well. It was protocol, just the same treatment they’d use on debrief. Jack took a seat across from this ‘Ryan’, only he remained quiet. Hands folded before him whilst they rest on the unwelcomingly cold table before him. Brows slightly uplifted as if gesturing the young Agent to continue, he need not want to be here for a large sum of time.

Jack took in the view of the kid, typical, one dressed to impressed only his physical appearance begged to differ. Looked like he could have used a few more hours of sleep, it made Jack grin slightly only it curled to a smirk. The kid was obviously having a rough time, but Jack made no attempt to insult, he’d rather end this quickly. He leaned forward, gaze flickered to the camera and back to Ryan, [ Lets get a move on this. ] He growled.

Ryan's optics slowly moved from the floor to the metal door as it opened and a shorter but muscular guy walked in. Instantly assuming it was Jack Bauer, his so called 'boss'. His optics made a slum glance at the glass as he watched him sit and stood up holding the two files of Sarah and none other then Jack's. Sighing he watched him give a smirk of amusement as it pissed him off. He slowly replied without thinking about it, [What the hell is so God damn funny?] Those were probably the best choice of first words to his boss but Ryan wasn't one to play mind games or be a dick like the way Jack seemed to be at the moment.

Ryan slowly groaned as he replied, [Well... I know you aren't gonna like me and I'm not going to like you, no matter how this damn interrogation goes so lets get the fucking thing over with? In Washington D.C. the CTU head quarters I was their Division Director and I ran across a few e-mails and I know of your abilities. It would be so easy for you to access someone else's computer and set up them up making it look like they are the worm and you are the one who really is. Oh I don't know you could have set up someone like Sarah?] he paused for a mere second then replied hastily, [Sarah Baker? Oh thats the one you screwed, right? The one who you go pregnant then she lost it? Your relationship must be pretty bad, assuming it was already bad before you lost the baby and it just got worse after?] Ryan wasn't playing now. He wanted to get something out of this guy and maybe he wouldn't get fired. Jack most likely was going to hate him for ever now but hell, he didn't give a shit. Ryan glanced at him awaiting a reaction of something catastrophic.

Bauer did not flinch as Ryan so abruptly spoke up, he rose his shoulder with slight hesitancy, more toward himself than intimidation. [ I didn’t say a thing. ] He returned casually. Ryan happened to have caught Jack in an irritable manner, everything was rather short in patience—everyone was being ripped apart, history unearthed and scars slashed open to bleed once more. [ Although I am curious as to why I get a rookie. ] He stated, it was obvious Ryan did not exactly enjoy the fact he was put in this position—it was alright, Jack was not exactly in the mood to bullshit.

Jack listened with reluctance, his gaze was neutral and his position relaxed but alert, what had been taught. What he spoke of was true, Jack did not get along with many and for good reason. Prepared to reply only Ryan continued, he listened. Now it was entertaining, he nodded, [ It would be easy for me to cover my ass if I wanted to fuck this country up. It would pathetically easy to set up Baker if I was the type who gets jealous or has his mind set on revenge. I may have spent several years under indescribable pain and torture, but that doesn’t make me seek revenge on anyone. ] He assured Ryan, altering the train of conversation for a moment. He laughed solemnly as he spoke of Sarah, [ Yes, we had an outside relationship outside CTU. ] He agreed, disregarding the remainder of his statement. For the time being Jack was neutral, Ryan was as much of a rookie as he took him for, which was assuring.

[ Unfortunately I am rather keen with technology, I have the resources to slip information without even raising a brow of the highest trained techy. But, what you fail to realize that I nearly sacrificed myself for this country so thousands wouldn’t die. Why would I throw that away? Because I’m emotionally unstable? ] His brows rose as he drew his question of assumption, [ No. I’m not unstable. I know well what I am doing. I have access to the log that removes what ever data has been removed. ] Paused, [ But I have no reason to destroy this country or the people in it. ]

As Ryan watched Bauer he saw his slight hesitance which made him want to smirk but he kept it hidden. [You didn’t have to….] He returned casually as well trying to keep his sanity. Hearing Bauer’s reply just pissed him off even more then before as he mumbled, [Well get over it.] Ryan was never one to bullshit around or dilly dally and he was tired of this crap and wanted it done and over with.

Ryan paced as he walked in front of the table as he had his hands folded behind his back wondering what Bauer had to say which was probably bullshit. [Why do you think you’re being interrogated? We know you can but why would you want to?] As Bauer’s laugh irritated Ryan he sighed dully and slowly sat at the end of the table with one leg touching the floor solemnly as he replied, [Yeah, so what happen?] Ryan was calming a bit down as he knew he was going to need to calm down and try to get under Jack’s skin but wondered how he was going to do that. Slowly Ryan stood and grabbed Jack’s file and he flipped open scanning a few interesting things as he stopped.

[So you are unstable?] He smirked with a smartass way as he listened to him replying that he wasn’t, it was just more bullshit. [It doesn’t matter if you sacrificed yourself or not before, you could have just decided to turn knowing you could easily shit on this country our four fathers gave us. You aren’t doing so good proving you aint the coward, not good on your part.] He paused and reclaimed calmly, neutrally, [No reason or not. Terrorists don’t have a reason and you sure seem to be crossing that line of not caring about this. If I was in your ranking I would pretty pissed about the whole deal of a worm in the CTU, I mean it seems like you don’t give a shit. Just like a spineless coward, terrorist.] Ryan leaned forward with his hands holding his weight as he looked at Bauer reading his optics. Ryan thought before that Jack wasn’t the worm but he was acting to casual and something didn’t seem right.

Bauer kept his smirk by which he felt rather suitable towards Ryan’s hostile response. His jaw lightly shifted while he remained quiet, Bauer had learned over the years to take things in stride—to not overact or under react, it was something that took time. Unfortunately it often backfired and many assumed it for what it wasn’t.

Jack followed Ryan’s movements, his pacing, listening to the questions arise. He shrugged, [ It’s protocol. Those with the technology knowledge such as myself are the first to get tagged. ] He replied, his tone slightly firmer than before. Jack wasn’t liking the route this interrogation was taking. [ Exactly, I wouldn’t. ] He returned sharper than before. Perhaps his neutrality had backfired, made him look guilty rather than innocent. Hearing Ryan’s irritated sigh, Ryan was supposed to be driving himself under his skin, not Jack burying in Ryan’s. [ It depends on what you want to know. ] He returned. Emotionless gaze of cerulean lowered to the file that Ryan was leafing through, Jack was known for breaking protocol and the law itself, but he always did it for good reason.

Jack withheld a growl, [ I’m not saying that. You’d likely pin that on me sooner or later in the conversation. I’m assuring, I’m not unstable. ] The tone coiled with hostility and defense. What Ryan spat toward him was enough to raise Jack to his feet, his hands clutched upon the table, tightly fisted to whiten his knuckles, [ That’s bullshit and you know it! ] He snarled defensively. [ I don’t give a damn, because I’m not the guilty one here. I’m neutral because that’s what you have to fucking learn in this job. God damn rookie. ] He shoved the desk in the direction of Ryan, merely pushing his weight away as his hand hastily ran against close cropped sandy blond hair. His breath drawn in with exasperation and sheer annoyance and frustration. [ It’s happened before. Several agents have been jeopardized, and those that have been—have been relocated. For the time being the worm has been halted, no further details released on Agents. I’m pretty relaxed because of that. ] The words were flat, cold.

It took a moment for Jack to grasp what Ryan was saying, his glare jerked over his shoulder and he advanced, shoving the table from beneath Ryan’s resting hands, [ I’ve been through more than you can possibly fathom. Don’t you fucking spit on me for one thing. ] He warned aggressively. [ I don’t give a damn what you think I did. ] A cold and bitter stare was met with Ryan’s who had the familiar view of seeking out information, Jack didn’t like the sound or the feel of this interrogation and he was growing thin on patience and hot in temper.

[Protocol my ass. Not always, they take the ones that have the closest evidence of being guilty…. Which is you.] Ryan replied with a sneer look on his face as his optics watched Jack grow a little angrier. As Bauer replied Ryan snapped back but it had more of calm tone, [Well you aint making it look like you wouldn’t. I’m thinking you would, with you being with your emotionally unstableness. The CTU tries looking for agents who can keep their emotions under control so they DON’T get in the way of the job but looks like you aren’t doing so well with that.] Ryan was digging up something that he might not be able to get out of but he was ready for anything now. As Bauer gave the smart ass comment Ryan’s teeth grinded as he coldly replied, [Like are you still fucking or is it broke off? What else?] Ryan watched his emotionless gaze which wasn’t satisfying but he knew he had to get under his skin and get some anger out of him.

[Well Jack, I honestly think you are…..] Ryan sneered a evil smirk as he watched him hold the growl as he left the jack ass smile on his face. As Jack stood up and clutched the table and replied at Ryan, Ryan rose his brows as he had a half smirk as he let him finish and replied, [Well, I don’t know that, neither does any one else. You’re the main suspect Bauer, I’m telling you to speak up and say everything you know…. For your God damn sake.] As the desk shoved towards Ryan he picked his leg up and stopped it with the bottom of his foot as he raised his brow and replied, [Sure looks like your emotionally stable.] He smirked as he knew this interrogation was going to be very interesting, for it already was. Ryan ignored his cold comment which didn’t seem right… He knew something was off.

[Oh go fuck yourself, since your so high and mighty.] Ryan smirked as he knew that comment could cost him but he tried to shake it off with a smirk and light chuckle. As Bauer smashed Ryan’s thoughts, which weren’t his they were the CTU’s so he replied hastily, [Bauer at first I thought you were guilty…. But know that I am listening to you my mind has been set straight and I know something aint right……] Ryan was loving this, he had already gotten under his skin and ripping it up watching him grow angrier and angrier.

Bauer did not flinch as Ryan replied with that sneer on his mug, he shrugged as his nerves bristled with ill patience. [ What evidence? ] He questioned flatly. Bauer shook his head sharply in strong disagreement as Ryan continued, [ I’m not looking for pity. I’m far from being emotionally involved, this job has literally cost me everything. So—I suggest you get off my back about it. ] As much as the word desired to erupt in hostile tone, Jack remained as calm as his ill temper would allow. The cold response merely rose a brow, his shoulder rolled forward and fell back, [ No. She’s under Doyle now. Not me, so we’re not involved on any ground. I’m afraid even Agents have a one night stand with their employees. ] Jack was now calm, but his words mocking Ryan contently.

Jack narrowed his eyes briefly upon Ryan’s words, as if it may help him listen better. He laughed and shook his head, he was finding this incredulous. [ I would tell you if I had something to fucking hide! ] He retorted. The sarcastic intention of Ryan’s words seemed to not reach his tone, but he did not give Ryan that satisfaction. He shrugged, [ Apparently no one really gives a damn about what I say, so think what you want to think. ] Jack knew he’d already gone and harmed himself by his abrupt change of stance, neutral to aggressive. A transaction that was not desired in an interrogation, it gave the interrogated a sense that the interrogated had something to hide. Which as of now, Jack wasn’t so sure anymore. Jack ignored Ryan’s comment as Ryan had done his own.

Jack laughed bitterly, [ You think that I use my pain as a crutch? Don’t be such a dumbass—I’m not that unstable. ] He retorted firmly. The hasty response that came from Ryan surprised him, and in a sense it didn’t. [ You don’t know jack. Believe what you want, I don’t have a damn thing to hide. ] He’d gone and moved toward Ryan just briefly, soon to retreat. His glare transfixed upon his own image on the two-way mirror, his jaw rotated and he pulled his chair close to his left thigh and took a calm seat.

The door opened, Bauer turned to find Buchanan in his sites, his eyes narrowed and he snapped his attention to Ryan, felt betrayed slightly. Buchanan spoke up and Jack knew what was coming, he knew from the beginning when he had made his first mistake that had vanished up until now.

[ I’m sorry, Jack. ] Buchanan announced sympathetically. The two armed guards at Buchanan’s flanks approached Jack, who resisted almost instinctively. [ Don’t fight, Jack. ] Buchanan warned. One of the men, stockier than he and a few inches taller shoved him against the concrete walls of the cell, chest against the wall. He grunted as the male kicked his legs apart for a pat down, he was clean of weaponry. [ Clear, sir. ] The man gruffly spoke. Buchanan nodded and Jack’s arms were ripped behind his back, cold cuffs met his wrists and the second armed guard announced. [ Agent Jack Bauer, you’re under arrest for unauthorized Rogue operations. You have the right to remain silent, if you give up this right anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law-- ] the words now faded as Jack stared quietly upon Buchanan who held obvious betrayal in his eyes. Jack had worked so long for Buchanan, been through hell and back and here he was… turning over vital information to the terrorists. But Buchanan was not charging him with treason… it was for a Rogue operation, he was surprised, but did not question.

Jack had known what he was doing from square one. When he was sacrificed so willingly by his country, when he was never told of Audrey’s ‘death’ only to find her alive and in custody of the enemy. Jack had several reasons to put specific agents on that list for the terrorists, the bastards that did not help him when he needed it—betrayed him by turning him over. He despised them for that, and now Jack had lost his sanity, he’d gone and been foolish, turned his back on his own country for a few mere men. Jack was never going to let numerous Agents come in the terrorist’s grasps, but only those selected few. He was messy when he had first started, didn’t cover his tracks so well, but had gotten away up until now.

As the door flead open Ryan jumped as he wasn't expecting this. His already conjested head spun in confusion as he let his brow rise. As Bauer stood and seemed to defensivly protect himself the way Ryan would have he watched Bauer be pushed against the wall and be checked and read his rights. Ryan was really flbbergasted by this and struck with confusion. It didn't seem right, did he do it? Was he the agent that helped him. Ryan then realized of what danger he was in. Slowly he looked around and the lump in his throat grow in nervousment as he knew it was only a matter of time he was goning to be caught, or I mean interrogated.

Very cautiously he watche Bauer leave as his pulse quickened. He thought to himself <get in the truck and haul ass out of here> He quickly let his foot fall in large quickened paces as he made his way to the truck letting his mind run over his thoughts knowing he could slide out of this but erm.... how? Slwoly he uneasily let his hand touchthe handle to the door to outside as she sighed hoping to God he could make it. All though doubt God would be on his side, back stabbing his country and all. Slowly he made it to the outside air as he took a deep breath taking in the cool crisp ar as the sweat that had formed began to melt away as he felt like he was let lose, little did he know.

[Jack Bauer]

Bauer turned as he was being pressed forward, guided out of the interrogation room into the belly of CTU. To be once more insulted and ashamed in front of his own people, his jaw was locked and his gaze downcast, avoiding the eavesdropping eyes and ears about him. Murmurs ran swiftly from one to another, soft murmurs he could barely hear and wished not to. His head hung low only a moment, straightening his back quickly and drawing his shoulders back. Bauer’s jaw tightened as he kept what little pride he had left in his stance. Jack knew little of who he helped, there was little discussed among each other, no names only codes and information. Jack did not take his gaze over his shoulder to the interrogation room, he did not hear Ryan leave nor did he listen to much of anything else that flew about him.

Greg tucked a file beneath his arm, he passed behind Jack as he was being take into custody, CTU stared quietly in silence. Greg shook his head and shouted sharply, [ Get back to work! ] and continued toward the interrogation cell Ryan had been in, it was Ryan’s turn to get boiled. Only when he entered the cell to find it empty did he recognize the back to him, Greg curled his chest in a growl. Tossing the file aside he took his lengthy stride toward the door by which Ryan had left. [ Agent Remington, where do you think you’re going? I have to debrief your ass. Get back inside. ] Greg snarled as he approached Ryan, standing a few mere feet from Ryan. The perspiration was obvious on Ryan, either he was ill, or he was feeling the heat of something.

As Ryan's mind spun with mixed thoughts and he felt the hot boil of the fear.... Her had his head spinning with thoughts of how to get his ass out of this for he had never felt so, fucked in his life. He fucked up big time and knew it, just to prove himself to someone else and look were it got him--- NO where. As he stayed outside he glanced to his Ford and slowly mingered over as he dug for his keys as he wiped his sweating forehead feeling the guiltiness sweep over him, scared.... Fearfull, timid and unsure of what to do.

Hearing the door open Ryan quickly snapped around seeing Greg. Hearing his words he mumbled under his [Fuck....] Slowly he shook his head and replied, [No I don't think so. I'm sick, tired, not guilty, and I'm suppose to have today off.] Ryan gave the best he could with quick thoughts as he tried to slid away in the grass like a snake knowing he wasn't going to be succesful. He grabbed hi keys and unlucked his truck and began to open it as the sweat got worse and his face red, both from being sick and ------GUILTY------.

Greg paused slightly as he had moved toward Ryan, who seemed a little unsettled. Greg chose to ignore it, for now. [ I didn’t ask for a personal update. Now get inside before I have you put in custody for conspiracy. ] He growled, jerking his hand back toward the door with a firm set jaw. Greg did not so easily let Ryan slither off his shoulder, walking swiftly up to Ryan slamming an open palm against the door as to shut it. [ You don’t look so good, Ryan. And I’m pretty sure you’re not sick. ]

Greg held a dull smirk, his hand still not relieved from the door as he stared Ryan down, [ You got something to hide, you better start puking it up. ] Greg threatened. He jerked his head toward the door in an effort to get Ryan moving again. Greg had neither the time nor patience for this slow shit. The perspiration that collected on Ryan’s face was more than red flag, the flustered expression was another reassuring sign.

Ryan let his optics narrow angrily as he hear his reply and snapped back with an flustered glare, Ryan just realized what he said which didn’t sand good a tall, he cursed in his mind telling himself he needed to keep his damn mouth shut and not to say another word. As Greg jerked Ryan’s hand away Ryan growled angrily, [Don’t fucking touch me asshole!] As Ryan watched him walk closer and he stayed his ground he watched the door slam shut and replied angrily, [Don’t slam the damn door!] Greg’s reply mad Ryan narrow his optics and grinded his teeth in a flustered and angry way as he replied with a low growl, [I’m fucking sick, get over the thought of me being the worm. Maybe you should get your priorities straight get off my fucking back….]

Greg’s ascending smirk made Ryan want to punch it off of his face but he just clenched his hand into a fist as he watched Greg. Ryan chewed his threat up and spat it back on him as he watched his jerk to his head towards the door as Ryan walked towards it shaking his head as he mumbled, [Prick]. Ryan slowly walked down the hall and turned a few turns as his hand hit the door and he walked into the interrogation room as he walked solemnly over to the steel chair and set his butt on it hard as he sighed with dismay feeling sick for he was actually sick and also his stomach the churned from the nervousness.
