Sarah slowly walked inside the bar. she was quit bored in this little town. sighting solfy she took a seat at the bar and ordered a bud light. scanning the crowed to make sure nobody was in there to kill her. running a hand through her hair she relaxed a little bit. Leaning her hand on the bar she slowly took a will needed drink. Closing her eyes as she took a long sip. she cold, burnin beer slid down her thoat. ordering a whiskey shot she downed 5 of them. by the time she was done she wouldn't,couldn't even stand or even sit.
rubbing her eyes she placed her head on the bar counter. sighing solfy she rubbing her face. Sitting up she brushed some of her blondish, brownis hair out of her face and looked around.

Bauer found himself as if he were following this new Agent, and he felt out of sort doing so, shaking his head lightly he approached the bar table. Avoiding her eye contact for now, tossing a soft nod for a drink, he was somewhat off duty... never entirely off, just getting his break. Hadn't been much of a drinker, though he picked it up after loosing Terri, and literally loosing his daughter for placing his work before his family. Hand settled against his forehead as he rested, gaze obscured and shut, shoulders rose softly with a sigh.
Naturally he looked up with the sound of more alcohol being served to the female beside him, brow caulked slightly, perhaps in saying something, yet she had been the type that would not surprise him and rip his head off for doing so. Stifling a laugh at the thought, he looked back to his own beer, [ Bad day?] he asked finally, taking a swig of his beer, arms crossed infront of him against the bar table.

Sarah slowly turned her graze to the male, holding on to the table as if it was life line. "yes.." she said and took a sip of her beer. placing it down she glance at him "you?" Sarah never acted like a Agent, she learned to hid it since she got shot a few times in a drug deal. so she always acted as if she never worked for the S.W.A.T. or the FBI. running a hand through her hair she leaned back against the table, she remember this male from the shooting range. Rising a solf eye brow before leaning her elbow on the table and her hand on her head and her head leaning into her hand. closing her eyes for a moment before reopening them. she watched him for a moment before turning her graze to the pic above the bar.

Bauer eased off the table as she took notice, he'd grasped onto it without thought, cursing under his breath for bringing forth such memories to cause him to cling to it. Hand brushed passed his temple lightly, rejecting another beer, he'd hardly drunken any of his current, turning his attention back toward her as she responded and countered with another question, he gave a weak smile. [ Sorry to hear that...] paused, [ These day is always my bad day.] he replied, brow rose slightly as if trying to explain with just that sentence, she didn't need to know the past, it was his, and he should have buried it.
Attention shifted forward, slightly settled in a stare with the silence, hand loose around the bottle with thought, jaw rippled softly as his mind doused him one last time in the past, taking a hungry swig of beer, wincing at the bitter taste, aware this was why he didn't drink. It had been bad enough to snag a heroine addiction earlier this year in order to keep his cover, last thing he need was drugs and alcohol, laughing lightly, but it was empty, in unison with his smile.

"will.. like you said.. i'm sorry to hear that.." she said in a slurr and smiled at him. she really didn't have a reason to smile she just did. she shot down her beer. enjoying the heat from the beer. leaning back aagainst the chair she watched him for a moment. "so.. if you dont mind be asking... y are you here? you dont look like the type to be around these places..sir." she added with a smile again. she was drunk and playfull!

Bauer took in her slur, he gave a light intake of a laugh, yet made no gesture to make it obvious. Looking up toward the Agent he gave a weak smile. Jumping slightly as she took down her beer so abruptly, looking at his own that still remained above the half-way mark. He cursed himself for jumping, thought it was kind of appropriate, he wasn't all there, more or less in an empty state of mind, out of his Agent Mood and into a Civilian One, which he despised. Gaze fell away once more, hand supported his chin as he stifled a yawn, opposite hand patted his shoulder holster just to insure it had been present.
Single eye opened while he suppressed a yawn that yearned to be released, giving a light smile, a rare moment for him. He immediately held a respect for her as she finished off with a 'Sir' though she was under the influence, so she could have been mocking him... he shrugged lightly. [ I don't really come to these places... I try to avoid them, but-a, from events of the past, I choose to come here and milk a beer.] he replied, there had been nothing to really say, aware he couldn't just spill his guts with a Yeah, my wife died a year ago on this day, so I one day I screw up my life by getting drunk. shaking his head at his own thought.
Heaving a soft sigh, she was in a humorous mood, and drunk, there was no point... then again she most likely would not remember it. [ Want another drink? Or have you had enough?] he asked hesitantly, one thing he lacked since being a 'widow' was the chemistry with women, he was left hesitant and in a sense shy, the complete opposite to his hard-ass Agent lifestyle.

Bauer chewed on his inner cheek, hand caressed the other as if to stay occupied with an awkward silence. Gaze fell from the female Agent, to his hands. Side of his mouth drew up slightly in response to her comment, making his tension lighten. Looking up he gave a respectful nod, [ Suite yourself.] allowing the appearance of a smile that had been so vague through his life, least after this past year. Brow rose slightly as she spoke up, mostly out of habit to show he was listening, [ Been here since I was sixteen, left my parents, and such. Besides, best S.W.A.T around is in Los Angeles, not to mention I wanted to work for CTU.] he replied. ['Course in a sense I wish I would have stayed in Canada, but, ya' know everything happens for a reason... I guess.] he replied, during the duration of his response his gaze had lowered toward his hand that continued to rub at his sore palm, which he'd given hell with a recoil of his Glock and a nice run in with a wall...

Sarah nodded a little bit. will he did't tell her who he was. but okay! she thought. leaning back on her hand she watched him rising a eyebrow a little bit. she layed her head on the table. she was't acting like herself she was drunk! she shouldn't be acting like herself! smiling a bit she turned her graze to scan the bar room again. nobody hunting her.. GOOD! "so..." she almost smiled at what she was going to say. of couse she was drunk "hm.. maybe you want to come to..my..place' she slurrred and smirked.

Bauer's hand brushed the nape of his neck, in recognition he forgot his own introduction. Giving an almost sheepish grin, [ Sorry... Jack.] he stammered lightly. Brow rose slightly with her behavior, she had been wasted, yet it only made him grin to himself... it was better than feeling sorry himself. Looking up almost immediately as she spoke up again, a weak smile crossed his expression in her question, looking away for a brief moment, thinking over the invitation. He hadn't been one to reject and advance, but she was wasted... what the hell, it was a bad week, maybe she'll help the pain leak away. [ Maybe I do.] he replied, placing down the money for his drink as well as Sarah's. Yanking at the navy blue flight jacket that slacked at his shoulders, he'd gutted it for the summer heat, thus it had been more of a wind breaker.

Bauer finally let a laugh escape, shaking his head, [ That too...] he replied in response. Pocketing his wallet in the back pocket of his slacks as he stood up, looking away slightly only to quickly look back as he heard Sarah grab the counter, brow caulked lightly. [ Need help there?] he questioned, taking a step forward as he offered a hand. Looking over the number of drinks she ordered... women and not being able to handle their beer, shaking his head slightly as he kept the humor within. Pocketing his opposite hand as he waited.

Bauer pocketed his other hand, brow remained risen in a cautious nature, shaking his head lightly he took a stride toward the door. Gaze fell to the floor, he smirked slightly, it had been amazing what he'd become, a year ago he wouldn't have been in a bar, nor with someone he hadn't known, let alone being sober and the woman being wasted. [ Whatever you say, Sarah.] he teased lightly, pressing his shoulder against the door, foot held it open as he waited for her, observing her as she swayed every so often in her strides, jaw rotated softly. A slight twinge of guilt and perhaps not doing this, it was in a sense taking advantage of someone in her situation, having a good time with someone who'd been wasted. Then again, it had been awhile since he had a good time, that decedent in his life had been rough on him, but it was nothing he couldn't handle, there was nothing wrong with having a good time to remove the pain.
