History:

Bauer has had previous history with the Military in Army branch. Transferred for training for S.W.A.T and then handed towards the Counter Terrorist Unit as a Field Agent and was made head of the Counter Terrorist Unit two years later. Upon taking up the job at CTU Bauer was married to a Terri Bauer a daughter was reported as their child; Kim Bauer.

During the first year of Bauer of becoming Head Commander of CTU a relationship problem arose between Bauer and Terri, both accompanied one another in a marriage council finding it best to stay apart. Bauer and Nina Myers were on paid leave over seas where an affair became noted and soon broke away upon returning to the states and Bauer returned to Terri.

The second year of Bauer's Command of CTU during an operation where a mole was within the walls of CTU. Terri Bauer was reported deceased in one of CTU's offices, the one responsible for this murder was Bauer's ex-affair, Nina Myers.
